World Human Rights Day - Thursday 10th December 2009

This day marks the anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 1948.
JOIN WARWICK PRO BONO IN CELEBRATING THIS EVENT.
PROGRAMME:
10-3pm KRISPEY KREME SALE FOR BAR PRO BONO UNIT (Ramphal Foyer)
12-1PM Pro Bono Tea Party (R0.03/4)
One hour interactive workshop: video clips, discussions & even a mini street law session (!)- covering themes including: domestic abuse, international criminal law, asylum & immigration and children's rights.
This will be a cram packed hour, where we want to hear your views, get you recorded on video for our annual pro bono film, have a couple of debates and eat free cookies! If you've reached the end of term and are thinking "SH*t I haven't got involved in any pro bono yet" HERE IS YOUR CHANCE!
1PM-2PM: Presentation on Islamic Feminism & Human Rights and Afghan Culture hosted by Femin Ijtihad (R0.03/4)
6PM-7.30PM: Talk delivered by Howard League's director on prison reform & then free drinks and nibbles! (R0.03/4)
